Idun Tvedt

Idun Tvedt is the Deputy Director of the Section for Peace and Reconciliation at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She has worked on various peace and reconciliation processes and was part of the Norwegian facilitation team for the peace process between the Government of Colombia and the FARC for four years. Previously, she served as the Norwegian Special Representative for the Philippines. Ms Tvedt has served as a Political Counsellor at the Norwegian Embassy in Bogota and in the ministry’s Section for Human Rights. Prior to joining the Foreign Service, Ms. Tvedt worked for the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.
