Marianne Weydahl Hille is currently the Chief HSSE representative in the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Previously she has been working for many years with fragile states and with countries in conflict, also in the Ministry’s Section for Peace and Reconciliation. She has been involved in mediation efforts in many countries in Africa and Asia. She has been working on most stages, aspects and tracks of peace processes, including ceasefire agreements. She has also been responsible for MFAs strategy on SR 1820. Hille has been a member of the Nordic Women Mediators network since its establishment. Hille has a background in Social Anthropology, and has been working for NGOs and the UN before she started her career in the Norwegian MFA. She has working experience from Bangladesh, Nepal and Iran, and she studied in London. She has currently finalized an MA program in organizational psychology and leadership.
